Shipping & Returns


Although we try to keep to keep most of the items on the website in stock at all times, due to our suppliers this is not always possible.

As such on receipt of the order, we will confirm that are goods are in stock and then they will be sent out on a next day delivery. (Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays)

If goods are out of stock then you cancel the order or except the new delivery date. (we receive deliveries every day of the week so goods are often only out of stock for a couple of days.)

If you order several items, and some are out of stock we will send these as soon as they are in stock, at our cost.

You only ever get charged delivery once.

Cost of Delivery

The cost of large items items over 1Kg is £9 to main land UK, Items below that weight such as books and video's will charged at cost, and sent by royal mail. (if it is several books or video's it is sometimes cheaper to send them by courier, and we will use the cheapest method.)

Cost of deliveries to other locations will be advised before proceeding with the transaction.

Returns

Goods which prove to be unsuitable can be returned for a prompt refund or exchanged if they are received back at our Mail Order Department within 7 days: When returning goods it is required you contact us for a returns number, that must be displayed upon the return packaging. This is to speed up the returns procedure. The product must also be in unused condition, with the original packaging, labelling and Boatworld receipt.

We recommend that items being returned are sent via insured, traceable delivery for your protection.

N.B: Videos and Books are non-exchangeable and non-returnable. However, in the event that these arrive defective, we will promptly offer a full refund, or replacement. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Faulty/Damaged goods, can be returned up to 12 months, from original purchase for hard wear, or 6 months on fashion.

N.B: goods can only be returned, if original proof of purchase is enclosed and a returns number has been issued. Due to the nature of most of our sports, a return does not mean an exchange or refund. Goods will be examined on return. Any product that is seen to be abused or not faulty will be charged for return carriage.

At Boatworld we have been operating a mail order service for more than 15 years. As such, we have a dedicated Mail Order department and distribution team attending to your orders. We are constantly updating our service so as we can make it more efficient for our customers, and take pride in the returns service that we offer to you.
