Description

Introducing the Explorer 320. This boat is rugged and ready for anything. The design for this boat is based on the Air V but with some quality upgrades, such as extra reinforcement, grips, accessories and much more. If you’re looking for a boat for coastal cruising, fishing on your local river or going wild camping look no further than the Explorer.

Coming in stealth black with a super wide beam, this boat is ideal for camping trips, exploration or just looking badass. Featuring a high pressure ‘Air V’ floor built into the boat and a maximum engine rating of 15hp this boat is sure to get you on the plane with ease and handle well.

This boat was designed for legendary polar explorer David Scott Cowper. We were tasked with making a tender for the expedition vessel ‘Polar Explorer’ at Southampton 2019. David has more records for sailing the Globe and in particular the North West passage than any other explorer. Needless to say the boat we have designed had to be the ultimate in build quality and robustness to survive all that the Arctic & Antarctic can throw at it.

QShould this have a short shaft outboard engine?
    A

Yes this boat requires a short shaft outboard. Hope this helps.

  2. Are the seats integral to the structure and stability of the vessel, or can she be run without them?

    A

    Hi there

Whilst the seats can help provide some rigidity, they are not necessary for the boat to perform well. Hope this helps.
